The San Andreas Supreme Court has had 7 justices serving on it since the States' Adoption in 1850. Members of the Supreme Court are appointed by the Judicial Nominating Commission, and selected by the Governor. After a Justice is sworn in, they serve an initial term of two years and face retention elections every eight (8) years thereafter.
